Difference between synthetic and mink lashes

Hello, guys welcome back to my blog, let me briefly thank all my followers and fans for staying glue to our blog site, thank you so much your audience has been warmly felt.
Ok, so earlier this week a friend of mine asked me a question and it was, what is the difference between synthetic eyelashes and the mink eyelashes?  So I thought why not I talk about eyelash extensions and about the difference between silk, synthetic (also known as ‘acrylic’), mink and volume eyelash extensions on my blog.

Here’s a little rundown on each types, and who they are most suitable for, to help you choose your next set of lash extensions!

Synthetic eyelash extensions: These are made from a polished, acrylic material and are the firmest/sturdiest of all. In appearance, they are a little shinier or glossier than the mink or synthetic, and when applied quite thickly, more dramatic.
While they come in a wide variety of thicknesses and curls, and can be applied to look very natural, these are most popular with ladies wanting a more dramatic and made-up look. They hold their curl extremely well due to their firmness.
Some people don’t find them as ‘soft’ or ‘natural’ looking than silk or mink eyelash extensions, and while they last a long time, the thickest type (we use a maximum of 0.20 mm in width) don’t have quite as good staying power as the silk and definitely not the mink.
They are most suitable for those with healthy, dense lashes of their own, and are generally favoured by younger clients. However because they are heavier in weight than silk or mink eyelash extensions, for many people they are not a great option –personally I feel that silk or mink are the only types of extensions that should be worn long-term, to cause no thinning of natural lashes. We still offer synthetic simply because it’s what some clients want. And on some, with very thick natural lashes, it can look simply fantastic.

Silk eyelash extensions: These are the mid-weight type of lash extensions, and are finer and more flexible than the synthetic type. Because they are softer and more porous, they tend to hold on slightly longer than the synthetic ones.
They can be made to look very natural or very glamorous, but sometimes quite as dense/thick as the synthetic lashes. Because they are lighter weight, they are often a much better option for your lashes if your own ones are weak or fine. They definitely last longer than synthetic lashes too.
Like synthetic lashes, silk come in a variety of curls and lengths, though are a better option for a more natural look, as the curl is not generally as uniform as synthetic lashes.
Glamour sets of silk lashes are one of the most popular options for brides, who are looking for lashes that are full and long yet still natural looking.

Faux-mink lash extensions: Faux-mink lashes, are man-made fibres, designed to imitate real mink fur. They are very fine, soft and silky, just like real fur. However, they have been improved, in that if you wet them, they won’t lose their curl. When wet, real mink fur lashes become straight and wispy and you often need to use a curler to curl them back up.
Faux-mink lashes are becoming very popular because they are so light and fine, they feel exactly like your own lashes. They are also shinier in texture than the silk lashes, giving the lashes a glossy look. They are (with proper care!) very long lasting, and are great if your own lashes are fine and weak. Because they are so light, they don’t tend to drop or twist, even after many weeks of wear. Because they are so fine, the surface-area-ratio between your own lash and the extension is much closer to 1:1 (with synthetic it can be 1:2 or even higher) so they last longer.
One downside is that even with a lot of volume, they are still beautifully natural and fluffy looking, so those that want a really glamorous/made up “Kardashian” look are better off going for synthetic lashes which give even more volume.

Homemade Natural Beauty Tips

Natural Beauty Tips:

Every Girl and Every Women is having an ultimate desire of looking beautiful. Now a days it is trend to look beautiful, smart and attractive even without doing excessive makeup on face. Here are some easy and best homemade tips to follow to look beautiful with minor makeup or without makeup.

1) For glowing skin:

First of all take a raw coconut and grate it to squeeze milk out of it.  Then apply this milk over your face and neck. It is very useful to add very good grace and glow to your skin.

2) Honey face pack:
If you are using Honey, Honey is antibacterial and super quick way to get soft and beautiful skin. Once a week or two week, make a habit to use a tablespoon raw honey and gently warm it by rubbing your fingertips together. Spread on your face. Leave on for half an hour and then use warm water to gently rinse it off and pat dry.

3) Body scrub for cleansing:

For cleansing of body skin mix 2:1 ratio of olive oil and sea salt to make a quick and effective body scrub. Also we can use sugar to coconut oil for effective scrub. This helps get rid of dead skin cells creating softer, more glowing skin. And this natural beauty tip is much cheaper that expensive store bought body scrubs.

4) Face steaming:

Take 1.5 liters of hot water. Pour this boiling water into bowl. Move your face above the bowl of hot water and face it downwards (put a towel over your head for maximum benefit). You’ll be able to feel a lot of heat getting to your face as if it is getting steamed. This is a very good method to reduce acne and any scars you have as the heat fights it back into your skin and almost kills it.

5) Grapes radiation for skin:

For a radiant complexion slice a few grapes in half and rub the cut sides over clean skin. “The fruit acids are natural exfoliators,”

6) Cleansing the skin:

Dip a piece of cotton wool in unboiled milk and wipe the face with it. It cleans unseen dirt.

7) Moisturizers and face masks:

For normal skin, mix 1 tablespoon orange juice and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a cup of yogurt, to make a paste. Apply it on face as a mask and keep it on for 15 minutes. Then clean it off with a wet tissue. This mask enhances the complexion and glow of face.

8) Banana facial:

Take ¼th of well ripen banana in half tea cup of milk. Mix them and make paste of it. Then use this paste as facial on face. Its really work good as skin start glowing by removing dead skins.

9) Nourishing the skin:

A protein mask help to nourish your skin. Soak a teaspoon of urad dal and 5-6 almonds overnight. Grind this to a fine paste apply this protein mask on face and wash it off after half an hour. This mask nourishes the facial skin and also enhances the complexion.

10) Conditioner at home:

Mix one tablespoon of honey and 2 tablespoons of cream. Apply this mixture on the face and wash off after a few minutes. It works wonders.

11) Prevent sunburns:

Protect skin by applying a moisturizer with black tea extract before sunscreen, this shows the ingredient decreases the effect of UV radiation on skin and may help prevent sunburns.

12) Removing skin pigmentation and marks:

Rubbing a raw potato on face removes marks and pigments.

13) Sunscreen lotion from kitchen:

Prepare a homogenous mixture of cucumber juice, glycerin and rose water. Apply this mixture on face. This mixture can be refrigerated.

20 Essential Bridal Makeup Tips

Look your best with our top wedding day hair and makeup advice.

Mascara: Waterproof It

Choose a mascara that's waterproof; it lasts longer and withstands tears. If you really don't like the look or feel, use one coat of regular mascara, then follow up with a light coat of waterproof mascara.

Eyeliner: On the Line

Charcoal, navy, or mahogany are your best options for eyeliner. Black or brown may look too severe, especially if your wedding will be held during the daytime and/or outdoors.

Eye shadow: Lighten Up

Use a white shadow as a highlighter on your brow bone if you have light skin; a warmer light peach or vanilla shade will suit deeper complexions.

Contour: Give Them Shape

Do contour your eyes, but avoid using color that's too dense (it can detract from your eyes themselves).

Brows: Shade Your Brows

Define your brows with a pencil or shadow that matches your hair color.

Eyes: Get the Red Out

Pop an eye drop if your eyes look red or tired, but stick with a brand you've used before to avoid unwelcome surprises (irritation or worse!).

Blush: Sweet Cheeks

Don't forget your blush! A pop of color on your cheeks is like an instant face lift. For fairer skin, a pink tone will work; those with deeper skin tones can choose a rosier hue.

Face: Zap a Zit

If you have a blemish or breakout just before your wedding day, keep your hands away from your face -- the spot will heal more neatly if you leave it alone. In the case of a sudden monstrous pimple, see your dermatologist and ask for an cortisone injection that will shrink it instantly.

Blend, Blend, Blend

Blend well all over, especially at the corners of your eyes, since cameras pick up visible makeup lines.

Get a Good View

For your makeup application, natural light is best. If possible, set up an application table near a window. If there's no natural light available, use a super bright lamp -- halogens work best.

Sit Up

If you're getting ready at a hotel, ask for a high bar stool so you can be at eye level with your makeup artist . If you can't get a stool, simply prop yourself up on pillows.

Bronzer: Even It Out

Use bronzing powder on your chest and neck if you need to even out your skin tone -- it will make your skin more luminous and ensure that your face doesn't look too different from your body.

Watch That Gown

Don't, however, use foundation on your decolletage -- it can stain your dress.

Carry Protection

Use a moisturizer that includes SPF 30 or higher, especially if you are getting married outdoors! You may be getting more sun than you think you are, and you will definitely look pinker in pictures.

Lips: Brighten Up

Choose a lip color that's a bit bright. Pale nude or brown lip hues can make you appear washed out in photos, particularly since you'll be wearing white. If you normally wear a neutral hue, wear it as your base with a pink or rose color on top. If you normally wear dark lipstick, use that as your base and apply a lighter sheer pink on top to give you a lift.

Keep It With You

Even if you mix various lip colors when applying your makeup, be sure to have one great lipstick to carry with you for touchups.

Greet 'Em With a Grin

You can have the softest lips and the perfect lipstick, but if your teeth are yellow, you won't want to flash a smile. There are lots of safe, reliable over-the-counter teeth-whitening systems, which all whiten teeth by a few shades.

Prepare the Area

When you're getting your hair styled, a low counter with a mirror -- like a vanity table -- will work best. Check to see that your chair has a low back, so your wedding hair stylist will have easy access to your head. And make sure there are electrical outlets nearby for appliances such as hair dryers, curling irons, and electric rollers. For extra insurance, bring a few extension cords.

Turn On the Heat

If your wedding is early, or if time is of the essence, plug in your rollers, curling iron, or straightening iron before your stylist arrives to save time.

Refresh Your Tresses

Head to a local spa and have a professional scalp massage (which not only feels good, but stimulates the hair follicles and adds body) and deep conditioning treatment the week before your wedding.

How To Build Your Confidence Without Makeup - Part 3

“One important key to success is self-confidence. An important key to self- confidence is preparation.”

Arthur Ashe

The Third B is:

Build Yourself

Work on accomplishing these basics

 1. Dress Sharp

Although clothes don’t make the man, they certainly affect the way he/she feels about himself/herself. No one is more conscious of your physical appearance than you are. When you don’t look good, it changes the way you carry yourself and interact with other people. Use this to your advantage by taking care of your personal appearance. In most cases, significant improvements can be made by bathing and shaving frequently, wearing clean clothes, and being cognizant of the latest styles.
This doesn’t mean you need to spend a lot on clothes. One great rule to follow is “spend twice as much, buy half as much”. Rather than buying a bunch of cheap clothes, buy half as many select, high quality items. In long run this decreases spending because expensive clothes wear out less easily and stay in style longer than cheap clothes. Buying less also helps reduce the clutter in your closet.
2. Walk Faster

One of the easiest ways to tell how a person feels about herself is to examine her walk. Is it slow? tired? painful? Or is it energetic and purposeful? People with confidence walk quickly. They have places to go, people to see, and important work to do. Even if you aren’t in a hurry, you can increase your self confidence by putting some pep in your step. Walking 25% faster will make to you look and feel more important.

3. Good Posture

Similarly, the way a person carries herself tells a story. People with slumped shoulders and lethargic movements display a lack of self confidence. They aren’t enthusiastic about what they’re doing and they don’t consider themselves important. By practicing good posture, you’ll automatically feel more confident. Stand up straight, keep your head up, and make eye contact. You’ll make a positive impression on others and instantly feel more alert and empowered.
4.Work out
Along the same lines as personal appearance, physical fitness has a huge effect on self confidence. If you’re out of shape, you’ll feel insecure, unattractive, and less energetic. By working out, you improve your physcial appearance, energize yourself, and accomplish something positive. Having the discipline to work out not only makes you feel better, it creates positive momentum that you can build on the rest of the day.
5.Smile

Another trite one. But it works. I feel instantly better when I smile, and it helps me to be kinder to others as well. A little tiny thing that can have a chain reaction. Not a bad investment of your time and energy.

6. Personal Commercial
One of the best ways to build confidence is listening to a motivational speech. Unfortunately, opportunities to listen to a great speaker are few and far between. You can fill this need by creating a personal commercial. Write a 30-60 second speech that highlights your strengths and goals. Then recite it in front of the mirror aloud (or inside your head if you prefer) whenever you need a confidence boost.
7. Empower yourself with knowledge

Empowering yourself, in general, is one of the best strategies for building self-confidence. You can do that in many ways, but one of the surest ways to empower yourself is through knowledge. This is along the same vein as building competence and getting prepared … by becoming more knowledgeable, you’ll be more confident … and you become more knowledgeable by doing research and studying. The Internet is a great tool, of course, but so are the people around you, people who have done what you want, books, magazines, and educational institutions.

In conclusion never forget to keep Believing in yourself, Being certain of whom you are and Building yourself is the key to having confidence without makeup.

“Whatever we expect with confidence becomes our own self-fulfilling prophecy.”
Brian Tracy

How To Build Your Confidence Without Makeup - Part 2

How To Build Your Confidence Without Makeup

Let’s see how Wikipedia defines  Self confidence.Wikipedia says Confidence is a state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective. Self-confidence is having confidence in oneself.  It also says Confidence can be a self-fulfilling prophecy as those without it may fail or not try because they lack it and those with it may succeed because they have it rather than because of an innate ability.

From this definition I was able to break it down into 3 B’s which are
Ø  Believe in yourself
Ø  Being certain
Ø  Build yourself

The first B is:

Believe in yourself

Always have the believe in yourself that every course of action is the best, if you decide to go to work on a Monday morning without makeup, know that your prediction is correct or was correct, how you feel and behave throughout the rest of the day will determine how confident you are in your own skin without makeup.

Keep in mind;

Ø  You are not a regular lady so you don’t need to follow the regular trend of what goes on in your office, at school, community etc be yourself at all times
Ø  Thinking less of yourself is totally wrong
Ø  Following and copying everyone around you shows that you believe in other people, other than yourself
Ø  It start from how you see yourself and what you tell yourself from within
Ø  Believing that type A is more beautiful than you would reduce your self esteem.
Ø  You wear makeup everyday because nobody says you are beautiful when you don’t wear makeup and they would tell you when you are on makeup, shows that you care more about what people think, or say of you.
Ø  Don’t make your first priority to be makeup it’s only a necessity not priority.
Ø  You are more beautiful with or without make up.
Ø  Embrace your natural beauty, speak positive words to yourself everyday
Ø  Love yourself and be certain you are the best at what you do you don’t need makeup or what any ones says to build you up.
Ø
Try to stay cheerful and have a positive outlook on life.

“Never bend your head. Always hold it high. Look the world straight in the face.”
Helen Keller
