I find this
topic a bit awkward especially for addicted makeup lovers like myself.
When these
topic came to me I was very critical about it, but I said to myself I would be putting a smile on someone’s face by boosting her self esteem with or
without makeup. Some of us are in these category, we mix self confidence with
makeup confidence. Whereas what we have is makeup confidence.
If you can’t
go on a dinner date without makeup, attend a conference without makeup, go
swimming without make up, go for evening lectures without makeup, go to work
without makeup, go for an interview without makeup directly or indirectly you
are depending on makeup to boost your confidence.
Do you feel
more confident on makeup and less confident without makeup? Do you shy at times
around people when you are without makeup on or you are more active and
communicate better around people when you have makeup on? Then this topic is
about you.
Your confidence should not be built by your appearance only; but from what you have inside of you, the quality of information you have, the morals you posse, the principles you carry and the in depth of knowledge you have of yourself, knowing your worth and understanding that your confidence is priceless and cannot be bought or rubbished by what anyone says about you.

I have heard a lot of ladies complaining of how shy they feel at work, when they don’t have their makeup’s worn and some say, they have to rush back to the rest room to do some touch ups to their faces after some few hours or before going for a presentation.
There’s nothing wrong in applying makeup everyday before eating or for a presentation, to church, to work and all, but it becomes wrong if it affect your self esteem. Makeup is meant to enhance your beauty not your confidence.
So how do we
build up our confidence back for those of us that are addicted to makeup?
To be Continued.......
